Few have noticed, but while Americans have been absorbed with such ponderous issues as the Kardashians latest costume change, our nations leaders have shifted us quietly from a Republic toward an Empire. The middle class is fading fast and in its place is a rising neo-feudalism.

The problem is much broader and deeper than Obama’s “imperial presidency:” the entire elite class has used the crisis-culture of his reign to grossly enrich themselves while re-imposing (though still in its infancy) a form of serfdom on the common people that hasn’t been seen in the western world for centuries.

The grassroots on the left decries Citizens United and predatory corporatism generally. The grassroots on the right decries the annulment of popular votes on marriage by activist federal judges, but both problems originate with the 1%. The elites keep those of us in the grass-roots strata divided and distracted with politically-polarizing social issues while they invent new systems for enslaving us — funded from the public treasury.

What the elites most fear is authentic populism, which began to emerge a few years ago with the Tea Party, joined shortly thereafter by Occupy Wall Street — but almost immediately the two movements began to be co-opted and polarized by the establishment Republicans and Democrats respectively (the two faces of the 1% coin).

There is still some life in both movements, but they never bridged the gap into a single populist mob capable of wresting power from the elite. For this I blame the grassroots left more than the grassroots right. For every knucklehead conservative who defends planet-killer Monsanto Corporation solely because conservatives are supposed to be “pro-business,” there are two or three looney-lefties supporting the dismantling of the natural family because liberals are supposed to favor so-called “gay rights.”

Hey Conservatives! Can’t you see the difference between healthy capitalism and crony corporatism?

Hey Liberals! Can’t you see that the elites wouldn’t so zealously implement anti-family Cultural Marxism if it didn’t serve THEIR interests and not yours? Don’t you remember that Lenin called people like you “useful idiots?”

Hey Everybody! Can’t we stop fighting each other for just long enough to stop the puppet-masters from stealing America out from under us?

The battle today is for marriage, the core of the natural family. Every human being on this planet will be harmed if the elites are allowed to destroy it by mutation. It is no different than Monsanto destroying natural foods or seeds by mutating their DNA, or Big Pharma destroying bodies by flooding the health industry with artificial, often poisonous “remedies.” Our common paradigm in the grassroots for guiding society should be natural vs artificial across the board, including natural marriage and family: rejecting the counterfeit alternatives to the self-evident design of our ecology — and our physiology.

The natural family is the eco-system of humanity! It must be preserved at all costs.

How? By a populist uprising! The elites need to see the angry mob — liberals and conservatives together — surging through the streets, pitchforks and torches held aloft, ready to tear down Frankenstein’s castle with their bare hands if need be. For Christians it’s Jesus and the money-changers time! Making a whip of cords like He did with His own hands, and letting these arrogant puppet-masters know we mean to use it (metaphorically speaking).

The only real pro-family victory we’ve seen in recent years is the repeal of the “sexual orientation” anti-discrimination ordinance passed by the City of Springfield, Missouri. The reason we won is because the conservatives got angry and stopped playing “nice.”

I take credit for stirring up the conservatives in Springfield and laying the foundation for eventual victory (though I had no part in the actual repeal process). My flyer accurately labeled the proposed law a Gay Fascism Bill because that’s what these ordinances always foster. And when local citizens were hand wringing about making the correct arguments during the public comment phase of the process, I told them “You Can’t Win This With Logic and Reason! They’ve Already Decided to Pass It and the Public Comment is All For Show! (Because the “gays” never make their move till they know they have the votes).”

The conservatives did get angry and they eventually repealed the ordinance.

The bottom line is this: The elitists always believe they’re smarter, wiser and better than you. They play the game of democracy to keep the peace but they always follow their own agenda to the fullest extent that the people will allow by their complacency.

The only way to deter the elites is with the threat of the mob. They need to see the pitchforks and torches to know they’ve gone too far and need to back down.

That’s where we are today in America. The elites want to eliminate the natural family to create a better class of serfs: state-bred children for the factories and the battlefield — easier to control, dulled by drugs and sexual promiscuity … and bread and circuses.

But despite their money and power they’re only 1%. They can only succeed if we let them.

Dr. Scott Lively at the United States Supreme Court.  The sign demands the recusal of Justices Ginsberg and Kagan, both of whom have officiated at same-sex “weddings” and thus proven themselves incapable of impartiality (a fundamental tenet of judicial ethics) on the “gay marriage” question that is before the court.

Late in February I put out a national call for pro-family advocates to join me for two hours of prayer for marriage at the United States Supreme Court on March 9th.  The primary purpose was to beseech God for mercy on our nation, because I believe only His intervention can save us from a pro-“gay marriage” decision by the Justices, and that such a ruling would be devastating to us as a nation and a people.

My wife Anne and I went in the spirit of Abraham, asking God to withhold His judgment for the sake of the remnant.

On March 9th Anne and I stood alone for the first hour and a quarter, fighting discouragement.  We were just two witnesses in a sea of apathy.  But then we were joined over the next 30 minutes by eight more people, peaking for just a moment as a group at exactly 10 souls.

In Genesis 18:22-32, Abraham, out of love for his nephew Lot and his family, lobbied God not to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah

“Abraham stood yet before the LORD…and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked? Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein? That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes….And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten’s sake.”

Was it merely a coincidence that my call-to-action resulted in just 10 people — exactly 10 — standing for righteousness in front of the court?  Was this the Lord’s answer to our prayer?  I don’t know for certain, but it is at the very least a hopeful sign.

This article was published in my snail-mail newsletter on March 20, 2015 but I have decided to publish it here as well in light of the Indiana Religious Freedom Restoration Act debacle http://www.wnd.com/2015/04/changes-to-indiana-law-largest-step-ever-toward-gay-rights/ which confirms my thesis.  I take no joy in being right in this prediction.

Satan’s Superbowl 

During the 1992 election cycle I was the Communications Director for Oregon Citizens Alliance (OCA) during the Measure 9 campaign to amend Oregon’s constitution to define homosexuality as “abnormal, unnatural and perverse” (the Biblical perspective in secular terms).  From the initial filing of the ballot measure language in April, 1991 to the final vote in November, 1992 I was the spokesman for the campaign, and a front-row witness to an incredible display of Machiavellian political manipulation.  In my quarter-century of Christian social and political activism I have never seen anything like it at any level.  It was as if the Gates of Hell had opened and all the demons had been unleashed in fury. 

The “gays” used just about every dirty trick ever employed in politics, twisted every arm, broke every rule, and commandeered for their war-machine every government agency, business, non-profit corporation, church, foundation, service organization, school, college, labor union and media organ within their considerable scope of influence.  It was a breathtaking display of power in which the voters witnessed not just a few but a long series of public declarations of allegiance to the “gay” cause by public figures and organizations — like Babylonian captives bowing to Nebuchadnezzar‘s golden statue.   

I offer the above for context.  I predict the media blitzkrieg for “gay marriage” over the next weeks and months is going to surpass what the homosexuals and their allies did in Oregon in 1992.  We are about to witness a “shock and awe” display of solidarity for homosexual marriage like a Superbowl half-time show on steroids –coinciding with an unprecedented level of attack on Biblical Christianity and a variety of dirty tricks designed to portray pro-family leaders and activists in the worst possible light to the largest numbers of people. 

It has already begun with a legal brief to the court filed by more than 300 republican leaders http://time.com/3734626/gay-marriage-supreme-court-republicans/.  Watch for this and similar lists to grow into the thousands of signatories, steadily increasing every week, with accompanying media fanfare.  Watch for a parade of public figures from every sphere of life “coming out of the closet.”  Watch for a “change of conscience” to sweep like a wave through many supposedly conservative churches and religious organizations as they either endorse “gay marriage,” or offer some form of compromise.  Watch for various pairs of bitter rivals to come together in unity for “gay marriage (e.g. sports teams, politicians, religious leaders) and every possible celebrity to compete for attention as a champion of the “gay” cause.  Watch for subtle and not-so-subtle pitches for homosexual marriage in nearly every sit-com, TV talk-show, and “news/analysis” programs.  Watch for all of this to unfold like a finely-timed stage performance in a series of “news bombs” that capture everyone’s attention.  In the broadcast media, in public schools and colleges, and on social media it’s going to be “all-‘gay,’ all the time.”      

Look also for an increasingly virulent wave of self-righteous judgmentalism against faithful Christians and the Bible-believing church — the only remaining barrier to “gay” cultural hegemony in America.  This is Satan’s Superbowl and he is in it to win it.  And in the process to cause as much hurt and injury as possible to the opposing team.  I hope I’m wrong, but experience leads me to expect that by the time SCOTUS comes out with its pro-homosexual “marriage” ruling, the metaphorical Superbowl Stadium of Marriage is going to look to the average citizen more like the Roman Coliseum — the stands filled with triumphant advocates of homosexuality cheering the spectacle of Christians being fed to the lions.

Christians have one chance to avoid this grim scenario: by moving the heart and hand of God to intervene on our behalf through prayer.  No human power can defeat the demonic king of this world as he  moves his team onto the field.  I encourage every believer to hold a personal Vigil for Marriage at the Supreme Court or your closest federal courthouse.  Just go there to stand on the public sidewalk to pray and hold a sign as often as you can until the final ruling comes down.  I may see you there.   

“Resistance is futile.  You will be assimilated.”  That was the message of the Borg to Captain Jon-Luc Picard of the Starship Enterprise on the television series Star Trek: Next Generation.  The Borg was a conglomerate of species forcibly transformed into cybernetic drones controlled by a hive mind called the Collective.  The Borg grew ever stronger by appropriating and exploiting the assets of whatever new species it encountered as it roamed the universe in pursuit of its insatiable lust for power over the lives of others.  Both individual and corporate victims of the Borg were assimilated into the Collective, losing their identity to the hive mind.

This week, the State of Indiana met the Borg, which on planet earth is spelled LGBT.  Like Captain Picard, the Governor of Indiana, Mike Pence, has attempted to reason with Borg and learned that there is no compromise with the Collective.  “Resistance is futile” said Borg drone Tim Cook, the formerly human representative of the now-Collectivist entity Apple Computers.  The refrain was echoed by a chorus of other drones, including some from the newly Borg-acquired National Collegiate Athletic Association.

Interestingly, the Star Trek Borg used a system involving microscopic nanobots to assimilate their prey but the LGBT Borg use media-driven fear-inducing psychological tactics instead (which is exceptionally effective on politicians).  Governor Pence and the Republican Party of Indiana are, of course, being subjected to the assimilation process as we speak.

All kidding aside, whether or not it was intended as such by the Star Trek writers, the Borg collective is a chillingly appropriate metaphor for Cultural Marxism, the driving force of the LGBT movement.  What we know as “political correctness” is simply the “group-think” of the Marxist hive mind.

No existing member of the American Marxist collective is allowed to dissent from the view that homosexuality and related perversions are deserving of legal protection and cultural celebration.  Moreover, any dissent from outside the Collective attracts the entire body of Borg-like drones — like a swarm of hornets — in the single-minded quest to seek and either assimilate or destroy whatever person or entity has been foolish enough to challenge it.

Many Americans are surprised that major companies like Apple, Ebay, PayPal, and Angie’s List are leading the charge against Indiana on behalf of the homosexual movement.  They are shocked that government entities like the State of Connecticut have banned all state-funded travel there.  Wake up, America!  That’s just how the LGBT Borg operates and it‘s getting stronger with every conquest.

The “gays” began assimilating corporations, government agencies and other entities more than twenty years ago.  As a newly minted Christian social activist fighting the homosexual agenda in Oregon and then California I began observing and reporting on the phenomenon in the early 90s.  It was a simple strategy implemented over and over again with machine-like precision.

Remember, first of all, that there no objective criteria for determining whether someone is “gay” —  it’s purely a matter of self-declaration, thus so-called “closeted” homosexual activists can be the perfect “secret agents” for their own cause just by keeping their sexual proclivities hidden from their employers and co-workers.  Many go so far as to marry the opposite-sex to protect themselves from suspicion.  This is such a common phenomenon among homosexual men that there is even a name for the women they use for cover: “Beards.”

In any case, this is their process of taking over an organization:

They begin by getting one of their in-the-closet activists into a hiring position in the targeted organization.  This agent then hires other “closeted” activists for all new openings for strategic positions.  They hire some open homosexuals as well.  Once they have a large enough body of activists inside the organization and in control of key decision-making positions, the openly homosexual members of their group lobby for and receive approval for the creation of a “Gay and Lesbian Employees Association.”  The demand is typically backed by the “closeted” activists as well.

Once this political beachhead had been established, the “gays” begin working to gain control of the organizational culture.  This starts with the adoption of a company anti-discrimination policy based on “sexual orientation,” followed by mandatory “sensitivity training” to indoctrinate all employees with pro-homosexual values and perspectives.  These training sessions serve the dual purpose of identifying dissenters who are then targeted for termination after a sufficient paper trail is created to give the appearance that the termination is performance related.  (As an attorney in California I represented several people who suffered this treatment after vocalizing a pro-family perspective during “gay sensitivity training.”)

Once the LGBT power-block had gained sufficient control, the resources, systems and assets of organization are commandeered to advance the “gay” cause outside of the organization.  Charitable giving is diverted to homosexual organizations, business contracts go to “gay”-owned companies, and community influence and goodwill is directed to the support of “gay” political goals, such as the effort to force Indiana to abandon it’s new religious freedom law.

(The Indiana law, by the way, is not an attack on homosexuals.  It is an effort to protect Christian businesses from deliberate attack by homosexual activists who use state and local anti-discrimination laws as an offensive weapon rather than the defensive shield they were designed to be.)

This relatively simple process is how thousands of American corporations, government agencies, non-profit organizations, labor unions, sports franchises, media outlets, judicial systems, law enforcement agencies, church denominations and even the Boy Scouts of America have been assimilated by the Collective.

So, America, is resistance to the LGBT Borg futile?  No.  Marxist regimes have been overthrown before.  (And even Jon-Luc Picard eventually defeated his Borg opponents).  I guess the outcome of this battle depends on how much we the not-yet-assimilated want to avoid becoming mindless slaves to the Collective.

Whenever and wherever normal people resist the mainstreaming of homosexuality, the LGBT movement and its allies attribute that resistance to “a climate of hate and fear” orchestrated by evil “homophobes” who exploit the prejudices of the ignorant by telling lies about “gay and lesbian people” who “just want equal rights.” They predict a wave a violence against “sexual minorities” and then set out to create their own evidence in support of it, all for the purpose of manipulating public opinion and public officials into the role of “protectors of the innocent.”

Here in America the strategy was first initiated on a small scale with human rights commissions at the local level in the 1970s, then at the state level and finally nationally in conjunction with the current massive leftist campaign to create a constitutional right to “gay marriage” by judicial fiat. Homosexualist Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy famously struck down the federal Defense of Marriage Act in United States v. Windsor on the grounds that opposition to homosexual “marriage” was motivated by “animus” (hatred). SCOTUS will likely use the same false logic when it rules for “gay marriage” this summer (absent a miraculous intervention by God).

This dangerous LGBT strategy has now gone global and the target is the Russian Federation.

To those who don’t fully recognize the Machiavellian character of the LGBT movement, or the extent to which the American media (even to an increasing extent FOX News) has become a sort-of “Gay Pravda,” what I’m about to state may seem crazy, but bear with me.

Not that it doesn’t also serve other globalist interests, but I have come to believe that protecting and advancing the LGBT agenda is the primary reason that Barack Obama orchestrated the coup to start a civil war in Ukraine. We were reminded this week that the LGBT agenda is a “core value” of the Obama administration when he appointed the first ever U.S. global envoy for “gay rights” http://news.yahoo.com/us-names-first-envoy-gay-rights-211447354.html. He had previously tasked the State Department to make the LGBT agenda a top priority of US policy abroad. http://www.massresistance.org/docs/gen2/12a/obama_memo_120611/index.html

To the Obama administration this is, literally, again literally, what is meant by “American values,” though most people don’t grasp this and still translate the phrase to something benign and wholesome such as “Mom and Apple Pie” or the like. TO BO, core values are not freedom of speech — that’s clearly trumped by “gay rights” in his world. Nor economic freedom — you can’t run a business that refuses to bake cakes, take photos, or provide flowers for “gay weddings.” Core American values to Obama are publicly celebrated sodomy and doctor-assisted transsexual self-mutilation.

In this commitment to “gay rights” BO is joined by and represents an ideological cartel of global elitists who have cooperated together to force it upon the world. More on that in a later essay.

The Russian anti-propaganda law, passed June 11, 2013, was the first truly effective international counter-measure since the “gay” agenda went global around the turn of the millennium. Typically, the “gays” characterized the law as hateful and an incitement to violence, but in doing so they revealed that propagandizing children is part of their agenda, since the law simply classifies “propaganda of non-traditional sexual relationships” as material that cannot be distributed among minors and commands the government to protect children from it. http://www.article19.org/data/files/medialibrary/37129/13-06-27-russia-LA.pdf

Just after the passage of this law Barack Obama did an about-face on the “reset” policy (in which Russia had been recognized as an equal partner in the world community) and instead began reviving cold-war rhetoric.

Nuland said “F*** the EU,” because it resisted the plan for forced Ukraine regime change as inimical to it’s business interests but (in my view) the US didn‘t care because it‘s interests were ideological and punitive.

BO knew, of course, that Ukraine to the Russians was the strategic equivalent of Cuba, or even Hawaii, to the US and they could never simply acquiesce to the transfer of their most critical warm-water port in Crimea and oil interests in the east to a hostile US-controlled regime.

The Russians were deliberately pushed into a situation where they could be portrayed as bullies — rather like the way a couple of “gay” activists set up the conservative State of Texas as aggressors. They (allegedly) orchestrated their own arrest for sodomy so they could portray themselves as victims to a Supreme Court majority (led by Kennedy again) looking for a chance to strike down the anti-sodomy laws. Thus we got the 2003 Lawrence v Texas ruling, which was used as the “moral impetus” for the first “gay marriage” law in Massachusetts in 2004.

Texas wasn’t breaking down anyone’s door to enforce its sodomy law (any more than the Russians were aggressing against Ukrainians before the US coup) but was pushed into doing so by LGBT agents provocateur. No one produces better agents provocateur than the LGBT movement, which has presumably been well represented in the US intelligence agencies since Bill Clinton lifted the ban on top-secret security clearance for “gays” in 1992.

After the Ukraine coup d’etat, BO and his media stooges then joined with anti-family GOP snake-in-the-grass John McCain and his fellow neo-cons (and their media stooges) in a relentless campaign of war propaganda on the theme that Russia is intent on reconstructing the evil Soviet empire. In just over a year Obama and McCain et al, have turned Russia into a pariah state in the view of the US and EU sheeple, based on nothing but disingenuous portrayals of the Ukraine crisis and unsupported fear-mongering that Russia intends military adventures against the Baltic states.

Incidentally, John McCain’s former chief strategist, Steve Schmidt, was hired in 2013 by the ACLU “to build GOP support in the states for legislation to make gay marriage legal” http://www.politico.com/playbook/0613/playbook11032.html.

And while we’re on the subject of Republicans, don’t believe for a second that the GOP establishment is not kowtowing to “gay rights” behind the scenes just as much as the Dems do it openly. Even under ostensibly pro-family George W. Bush the State Department was pushing the homosexual agenda around the world. I personally confronted the diplomatic staff at the US embassy in Riga, Latvia in 2007 for helping to organize a “Gay Pride” parade in defiance of an overwhelming pro-family majority in that conservative nation.

And here’s another bombshell that missed the conservative media. The Human Rights Campaign effort to characterize American pro-family activism in foreign countries as fostering “hate and fear” (an effort which labels me Public Enemy #1) was funded by GOP mega-donors Paul Singer and Daniel Loeb http://www.washingtonblade.com/2013/11/06/controversy-over-hrcs-international-push-paul-singer/

Back to Russia. Recently I was interviewed by the BBC for a documentary the producers said was about “the global culture war.” However, the interview focused heavily on my reaction to the reports of — Surprise! — an alleged increase in “anti-gay” violence in countries that have passed laws against homosexuality” particularly Russia and Uganda These reports (which they never showed actually showed me) were allegedly prepared by Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, the United Nations, and Sexual Minorities Uganda (SMUG), bastions of impartiality all. This brings us back full circle to the theme of this essay. I told the BBC interviewer that I did not view any of these sources as trustworthy on the issue of homosexuality and cited the Matthew Shepard and David Kato murders as evidence. So here’s the moment of truth for pro-family analysts and advocates. Do you really grasp the extent to which LGBT leaders and activists will go to serve their own interests? You’ve seen what they do at the street level, against Christian businesses, etc. What would that deviltry look like on an international level, if, say, the President of the United States were a “gay” activist?

In August of 2013 I sent a open letter to President Putin, thanking him for signing the anti-propaganda law. In it I warned him “not to assume that you have fully solved the problem by the enactment of this law. Regardless of where one stands on Ukraine or Vladimir Putin, just for a moment consider where the pro-family movement would be if it hadn’t been for the Ukraine coup. Russia would still be (relatively speaking) a respected member of the international community offering an alternative, genuinely pro-family model for social policy. There would likely be at least a half-dozen nations which would have adopted the anti-propaganda law for themselves (with many more considering it) and there would be a healthy international debate raging on pro-family vs LGBT visions for the future. I believe the tide would probably have begun to turn in our favor, at least on the global scene, if not yet in the US or EU.

Is it really so far-fetched to believe that morally wicked, Imperialistic, Alinsky-ite Obama (credibly alleged to be a homosexual himself) started the Ukrainian civil war to punish Russia for opposing the “core value” of America, the priority of his State Department? Or (more importantly to the “gays”) to prevent the Russians from leading a pro-family counter-revolution in the world?

Are you as a pro-family conservative really going to accept the word of Barack Obama, John McCain and the mainstream media that Russia is the bad guy in this story? If you do, you really don’t know your enemy — and I’m not talking about Putin.

Next time you hear the implication that Russia has created “a climate of hate and fear” in Ukraine, Russia or anywhere else, just remember whose go-to strategy this is for smearing its opponents and how deeply they are entrenched in the media, the White House and now the GOP establishment as well.

Absent a miracle from God or unprecedented massive wave of popular protest by America’s Christians (which would be a miracle in itself), the United States Supreme Court will declare a constitutional right to “gay marriage” by judicial fiat sometime this year. Justice Ginsberg (who along with Justice Kagan has actually performed same sex “wedding” ceremonies and should but won’t recuse herself) warned the left just before the Windsor decision (in thinly veiled comments about Roe v Wade), that her pro-homosexuality majority was not going to go that far in striking down the federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) in 2013, though the result that all wanted would come in due time.

Her Cultural Marxist pals at the grassroots and in the federal judiciary then waged a campaign to “legalize” homosexual unions by systematically striking down voter-established state DOMAs over the next eighteen months, beginning with the most conservative states. The plan was to engender a sense of resignation in the public so that the upcoming “gay marriage” ruling would not so shock the nation that the common people would revolt against it like they did (and still do) against Roe v Wade.

The fact that SCOTUS has now taken up the issue (with oral arguments set for April) means that the leftist majority on the court believe the time is at hand to finish the job.

Spiritually speaking, the official endorsement of “gay marriage” by the most powerful and influential nation on earth, and more importantly the only nation in the history of the world (other than ancient Israel) to be established on a Biblical foundation, is an act of rebellion against God not seen since Noah’s Flood. Indeed, the ancient Hebrew rabbis taught that “same-sex and bestial marriages” were the final insult to God that triggered the great flood (Talmud, Genesis Rabbah 26:5:4). And Jesus alluded to this when he warned that in the time leading to His return, wicked people would be “marrying and giving in marriage” “as in the days of Noah” (Matthew 24:38), when “every intent of the thoughts of [their] heart was only evil continually” (Genesis 6:5).

The only incidents in Biblical history that come close to that level of wrath are Sodom’s rebellion in Genesis 19 (ending in a rain of fire and brimstone), and the extermination of the Canaanites for committing (on a grand scale for many generations) the sins listed in Leviticus 18 (essentially incest, child sacrifice, homosexuality and bestiality). Importantly, though homosexuality was a central factor in both of these acts of God’s wrath, widespread, socially-celebrated “gay marriage” was not seen in either case, nor even in the secular history of the final debauched days of the Greeks or Romans. Our present time is truly, and uniquely “like the days of Noah.”

Blood Moons, Jubilee, and Tribulation

“Coincidentally,” prophecy-oriented Christians have been intently focused on the year 2015 for several years now. The current Shemitah, a seven-year cycle of prophetic timekeeping kept by the Hebrews since first outlined by Moses in Leviticus 25, ends in mid-September 2015, when many believe the next (perhaps last) of the 50th-year Jubilee celebrations begins. And 2015 is the second and final year of the dramatic “tetrad“ of four lunar eclipses (called “blood moons” in scripture) that fall precisely on the Hebrew feasts days (which are outlined in Leviticus 23). Such tetrads are extremely rare and have occurred roughly in conjunction with the most monumental of events in Hebrew history. For example, the only two tetrads of the past 500 years coincided with the establishment of Israel as a nation in 1948 and the 1967 return of full control of Jerusalem to Jewish hands for the first time since the Roman expulsion of all Hebrews in 135BC.

News reports state that the “gay marriage” case will be officially filed in “late March.” The first of the solar eclipses will occur on March 20th, followed by the third of the four “blood moons” on April 4th. The “gay marriage” ruling by the court is expected to come down sometime in mid-2015.

I expect some sort of severe judgment to fall on America in conjunction with this process.

Clearly homosexuality is not the only factor that will trigger the wrath of God. America bears the blood guilt of over 50 million unborn babies who have been slaughtered over the past half-century, a modern parallel to what God warned against in Leviticus 18:22. And we have broken the foremost commandment of the Decalogue and officially set other gods before Him through SCOTUS rulings in Everson v Board of Education (1947) and Torcaso v Watkins (1961), setting secular humanist government above God “and every so-called god or object of worship” (2 Thessalonians 2:4) in the policy we call colloquially “religious pluralism.” Obama’s hostility to Israel probably factors in as well.

IF the speculations about the blood moon tetrad and the timing of the Jubilee are accurate, America will not stand alone in judgment. The coming calamity will almost certainly be a part of some larger act of God’s punishment on the entire world, most likely the Great Tribulation prophesied by Jesus in the Olivet Discourse (Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21).

There are various beliefs about the sequence of end time events in Jesus’ prophecy, but a natural reading of it suggests a simple chronology that starts with “the beginning of sorrows” (birth pangs), after which a seven-year tribulation begins, bifurcated by the unmasking of the Antichrist after 3 ½ years. The “beginning of sorrows” is the time of the infamous Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (Revelation 6), described in the Olivet Discourse as false Christianity (the white horse), wars and rumors of wars (the red horse), famine and pestilence (the black horse) and death (the pale horse).

What would the “beginning of sorrows” look like if it were to unfold in 2015? (Let me be clear this is purely an educated guess. I am not claiming divine revelation).

In my view the white horse is best exemplified by the phenomenon of “gay theology,” the heresy of our age, advanced by a growing army of self-righteous political activists claiming to represent Christ in a campaign to declare good evil and evil good. They and their unique brand of apostasy are clearly described in the last-days prophecy of 2 Peter 2:1-10, which specifically invokes Sodom and warns in part that “[m]any will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned.” Importantly, like the LGBT movement today, the rider of the white horse in Revelation 6 (symbolic of the Antichrist who is still masked and unrecognized at this stage) holds aloft a “bow” (rainbow), the misappropriated symbol of the presence and authority of God (Ezekiel 1:28, Revelation 4:3).

I would expect the white horse to be unleashed very soon in coordination with the “gay marriage” battle, generating a wave of apostasy far beyond anything we have seen thus far in the culture war. It would not be an exclusively American phenomenon, but a global campaign pushing some version of “gay theology” while proclaiming the dawn of a new era of Christianity (2 Corinthians 11:13-15). Remember, the end-time Antichrist is the ultimate Luciferian deceiver, an Angel of Light, and only the elect will recognize what is actually unfolding (Matthew 24:24) — the rest, even many who claim Christ, will embrace the heresy (as is already occurring on a smaller scale).

The red horse is war, and I would expect to see the outbreak of major regional if not world war soon as well, almost certainly involving Israel and various Moslem nations, backed by various allies. There are any number of plausible scenarios based on current tensions around the world.

The war would trigger a global economic meltdown and varying degrees of collapse of the financial and political infrastructure of the nations of the world, ushering in the black horse: famine and pestilence. There would be social chaos on an unprecedented scale, resulting in the breakdown of civil order, farm and factory supply chains, medical care and sanitation.

The pale horse represents the massive harvest of the grim reaper as potentially millions of human beings are killed by war, starvation, disease, unchecked sectarian violence, ethnic cleansing, and a series of earthquakes and natural disasters.

The Rise of a False Savior

After weeks or months of global chaos, when the nations are sufficiently broken and the peoples of the world desperate for a return to order, a hero will step upon the world stage to end the crisis. In the human context he will secretly represent the globalist elites who have planned and prepared for this opportunity to impose a new world order: a new global government with a new economic system.

In the spiritual context he will be enacting a Satanic plot to usurp the role and identity of the Messiah and gain the adulation of the world.

Wielding great military power this self-aggrandizing human savior will force an end to war and impose a secular humanist paradigm and religious pluralism as a remedy to the various forms of “discrimination” which he will blame for the world crisis. Everyone will be given the choice (at first) to join the new order and gain immediate integration into its cradle-to-grave socialistic bounty. “Just sign this oath to reject and renounce all divisive and discriminatory beliefs and “supremacist” theologies,” he would say, “and take this mark of membership on your hand to receive free food, housing and medicine and all other benefits under our enlightened new order of tolerance and inclusiveness.”

Who would not rush to accept such relief after such a season of horror? Who would not offer heartfelt fealty to the one who provided it? — Only those willing to choose continued suffering and deprivation rather than to “take the mark” and renounce their faith.

In this speculative scenario of mine, the date on or around which this false messiah would emerge is Yom Kippur, September 23, 2015, the first day of the Jubilee — the day/year of liberation. Just as Christ began His earthy ministry by declaring the Jubilee in Luke 4:17-21, the false messiah would do the same, but in modern terms: “I hereby declare a global Jubilee of all debts, both public and private,” he would proclaim, “We are wiping the slate clean to start over on a foundation of social justice and cooperation.” He would not yet be exposed to the world as the Antichrist, but the Biblically literate would recognize him.

The fifth stage of the end-time chronology is persecution of the believers (Matthew 24:9), who, in this scenario, would be characterized as “black marketers” who refuse to support the new economic system and are thus blamed for its many inadequacies and hated by its adherents. Even as the rest of the world lauds its “savior” and embraces his government, the Christian believers (and Torah-faithful Jews) would be increasingly reviled and hunted.

Under the Antichrist kingdom, Jerusalem (the center of the universe for prophecy study) is described in Revelation 11:8 as “mystically called Sodom and Eqypt,” implying in part that both homosexuality and pantheism (religious pluralism) define its culture.

I don’t think there is any question, Biblically, that the cultural celebration of “gay marriage” portends judgment from God. The only real question in my mind is whether it truly signals the imminent “beginning of sorrows” or is just another step in the path leading to God’s wrath at a later time. God is long-suffering, even to the most wicked of societies and He does not act until their iniquity is “full” (Genesis 15:16).

If we are on the verge of “birth pangs” we will likely know it by Passover, but in either case we should brace for serious judgment on the United States in the form of natural and/or man-made disaster if the Supreme Court established sodomy as a basis for marriage under our constitution.
