Scott Lively on the BLM Race Riots

Dr. Lively contends that the purpose of Black Lives Matter rioting is to INCREASE Racism to justify the Marxist race-war narrative, and laments that too many conservatives and constitutionalists fall into the trap of lumping the innocent majority of Black Americans with the trained thugs of the BLM and the useful idiots who run with them.

He also argues that these riots, begun on Thursday, have been timed to deflect attention away from Friday’s release of the fully exculpatory Michael Flynn transcripts which expose the “Obamagate” co-conspirators to serious criminal liability.

Scott Teaches About Pentecost

On the evening before the Christian Pentecost Sunday, Dr. Lively relates one of his most interesting discoveries in the text of the Bible, related to the contrast of the letter and the spirit of the law in the stories of the Hebrew and Christian Pentecost experiences. The Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 3:6 that “God has qualified us as ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” That teaching is astonishingly illustrated by the comparison of Exodus 32 (especially verse 28) with Acts 2 (especially verse 40). Dr. Lively also shows how God’s instructions on the keeping of the Pentecost holiday in Leviticus 23 bolster “two house” theology.

PROPHECY UNDER THE NEW COVENANT

There are innumerable theories on Biblical prophecy and numerous well established camps totally convinced of their respective conclusions. I have charted my own course based on the premise that the Bible is intended to be one harmonious document in which all the diverse components interconnect naturally. That requires balancing the Old and New Testaments and I believe the key to that balance is found in Jeremiah’s prophecy about the New Covenant (Jeremiah 31). It is cited in Hebrews 8 by way of explaining to the Hebrew people why the New Covenant was superior to the Old Covenant, but it also highlights two critical facts important to the study of prophecy generally.

Jesus has received a much more excellent ministry, just as the covenant He mediates is better and is founded on better promises. For if that first covenant had been without fault, no place would have been sought for a second…. ‘Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. It will not be like the covenant I made with their fathers…I will put My laws in their minds, and inscribe them on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they will be My people. No longer will each one teach his neighbor or his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest.’ ”

Jeremiah is clearly describing Christianity, wherein God indwells those who accept Christ as Savior, Who specifically promised “when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and He will declare to you what is to come” John 16:13. That was a spiritual quantum leap of incalculable magnitude. The passage also makes clear that understanding prophecy is about listening to the Holy Spirit for yourself.

The purpose of prophecy under the New Covenant is to prepare the church for the Second Coming of Christ. We should therefore pay very close attention to how the New Covenant is defined by Jeremiah, and to the instructions of the mediator of the covenant, Jesus Christ, on the subject of prophecy. That means first, to recognize the centrality of the Two House theme in understanding the phenomenon of Christianity in prophecy – which almost no one with a large prophecy-themed following does – and second, to give far greater weight to Jesus on the timing and landmarks of prophecy than any other prophet.

To the first point, I refer you again to Hebrews 8:8 “I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.”

Was the New Covenant primarily for the Gentiles? NO. In fact, Gentiles have to be “grafted in” before it will even apply to them (Romans 11). Was it for “the Jews” (the Biblical nickname for “Judeans” as distinct from “Israelites” – 2 Kings 16:5-6 )? NO. It was expressly promised to the two separate houses of the Hebrew sons of Jacob: the House of Leah and the House of Rachel, named (per patriarchal custom) for their sons Judah and Joseph (“Israel” per Jeremiah 31:9), respectively. Hebrews 8:8 is thus proof both that the two houses are still separate at the issuing of the New Covenant, and that the story of the New Covenant is intimately related to the past and future story of the two houses.

To the second point, I argue that the Olivet Discourse as presented in Matthew 24-25 is the ultimate foundation and guide to all prophecy study, because it was the instruction given by Jesus to His disciples in response to their direct question in Matthew 24:3, “When will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” I contend His answer was a point by point chronological summary of end-time events which is repeated with only slight variation in the Gospels of Mark (Chapter 13) and Luke (Chapter 21) and reiterated by Jesus in an expanded and annotated fashion in the Book of Revelation, recorded by the Apostle John.

In my analysis of Matthew 24-25, I track twelve events in Matthew 24, starting with the “birth pains” and ending with the glorification of the Bride of Christ at the resurrection and rapture (“birth”). I then continue into Chapter 25 to track the three sequential post-rapture events (in three parables): the Wedding Feast of the Lamb, the Testing of the Works, and the Return of the King. Those fifteen events establish a timeline template to which all other prophecies can be naturally correlated and aligned.

I next aligned Revelation to the Matthew 24-25 timeline, then brought in God’s time-keeping systems: the seven feasts of Leviticus 23, and the broader cycles-of-sevens teaching in Leviticus 25 to further assist on aligning the Old Testament prophecies to the timeline. Some of this will be familiar to those who have heard teachings on the Biblical Feasts which have been gaining popularity over the past decade.

Importantly, in my analysis, the three events of Matthew 25 fall within the Ten Days of Awe that begin with Yom Teruah (the Feast of Trumpets) on which I believe the resurrection and rapture will occur, and Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement), in which Christ will return with the Host of Heaven to take physical possession of the earth. While the Ten Days of Awe are a time of exceeding great joy for the Bride-become-Wife of God, they are simultaneously Ten Days of Wrath for those left behind on earth to suffer the bowl judgments, and finally, the Winepress of the Wrath of God.

The Prodigal Son Prophecy Chap 1 Part 1

In this video, Dr. Lively publishes the second installment of his book The Prodigal Son Prophecy: God’s Amazing Plan for the Restoration of the Two Hebrew Houses, and the Salvation of the Gentiles. This installment features is presentation of part one of chapter one, in which he sets forth his understanding of the last days timeline as laid out by Jesus in Matthew 24-25, the “Olivet Discourse,” and discusses how this timeline allows all of the end-times prophecies to be naturally harmonized and aligned with it, when triangulated with God’s timekeeping systems in Leviticus 23 and 25. Dr. Lively offers a completely different perspective of eschatology than most Christians are familiar with, but one which will is highly enlightening and easy to understand.

Scott Lively on the Coming Patriotic Revival

Dr. Lively characterizes the orchestrated Covid 19 Pandemic as the third strike of the global elites in their effort to take down the Trump Administration and kill the anti-globalist movement (the first two being, of course, the Russian Collusion Hoax and the Impeachment Scam), and predicts a patriotic revival this summer, even as the Dems and RINO Republicans double-down on their police state agenda.

He doesn’t minimize the pain and suffering still to come because of the attempted take-down of the US economy, but suggests that a little taste of genuine totalitarianism may turn out to be exactly what the American people needed to remember why “liberty” was such a central theme of the founders generation and to spur them into action. He admits that the majority still appear to be compliant “sheeple,” but points out that the overthrow of King George only required a third of the population to actively revolt against him — and it seems that about a third of Americans today are fully awakened to the reality of the Deep State and eager to defeat it.

Of the remainder, Dr. Lively observes that “compliance” to Dictators does NOT equal agreement with them, and suggests that in the secrecy of the voting booth these apparent “sheeple” will take their own form of revenge in November by giving Trump and those aligned with him landslide victories.

Scott Lively on Taking Down the Lying Media

Dr. Lively raises the issue of prosecuting journalists for conspiracy to obstruct justice in relation to recent disclosures that the FBI used leaks to the media to help drive its Russian Collusion Hoax. He talks about his own experiences as a target of character assassination by the mainstream media, and about his intention as a teenage leftist to become a journalist himself to help “change the world” (which same time frame, he contends, was the period in which the Marxists completely took over the media in America.)

Scott Lively on Wimp vs Warrior Churches

Dr. Lively puts on his pastor hat to contrast the attitude of Massachusetts vs California churches about “re-opening” within the context of similarly overreaching government lock-down policies. He applauds the decision of California churches to simply declare to Fascist Governor Gavin Newsom their intention to reopen on May 31st (Pentecost Sunday) and criticizes the decision of Massachusetts churches to approach Uber-RINO Governor Charles Baker as supplicants, implicitly validating the idea that Christian worship gatherings are a privilege which government has the right to grant or deny.

Dr. Lively then puts on his constitutional lawyer hat to briefly summarize the history of governments’ encroachment on Christian liberty, and how the “separation of church and state” was transformed first from a cultural metaphor, to (purportedly) binding constitutional law in which the separate sovereignty of the church was at least still implicitly acknowledged, and then further converted into a legal and political “one way street” in which the government claims the authority to control churches and the “duty” of the church is to submit to being categorized as a “non-essential service” and to comply with government dictates.

He strongly urges all Bible-believing churches in American to follow the California rather than the Massachusetts example. And he specifically exempts the courageous Pastor Kristopher Casey of Alden Square Baptist Church of Worcester, Massachusetts from this criticism.

Acts 4: 13-20

When they saw the boldness of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they marveled and took note that these men had been with Jesus. And seeing the man who had been healed standing there with them, they had nothing to say in response. So they ordered them to leave the Sanhedrin and then conferred together.

“What shall we do with these men?” they asked. “It is clear to everyone living in Jerusalem that a remarkable miracle has occurred through them, and we cannot deny it. But to keep this message from spreading any further among the people, we must warn them not to speak to anyone in this name.”

Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John replied, “Judge for yourselves whether it is right in God’s sight to listen to you rather than God. For we cannot stop speaking about what we have seen and heard.”
