Part 1: Prideful Trump and the Bible’s Hard Red Line on Sodom
Who enclosed the sea behind doors when it burst forth from the womb,
when I made the clouds its garment and thick darkness its blanket,
when I fixed its boundaries and set in place its bars and doors, and I declared:
‘You may come this far, but no farther; here your proud waves must stop’?
(Job 38:8-11).
Pride is the original sin – born from self-awareness in the mind of every created being of the higher orders – perverted by the lust for self-aggrandizement in defiance of the Creator. Pride was the poison that toppled Lucifer, the Guardian Cherub who had walked in Eden and among the fire stones but who presumed to covet God’s throne (Ezekiel 28, Isaiah 14). And Pride is the defining crime of the end-times Satanic army which has presumed to covet God’s rainbow as both a parade banner beneath which it mocks Him, and a garment within which it wraps the ultimate form of human rebellion: male-on-male sodomy. “They display their sin like Sodom; They do not even conceal it. Woe to them! For they have brought evil on themselves” (Isaiah 3:9).
Pride is the greatest flaw of our great political hero of 2016, Donald Trump. We all know it and have overlooked it for political expedience because he has been such a great champion against the truly wicked deep state. At the human level pride is not such a huge problem as to disqualify someone from leadership, and in fact most if not all of our leaders have suffered it to one degree or another. And Trump’s openness about his pridefulness has, to a point, actually been a refreshing change from the pretense of false modesty and the self-serving guile that has come to define the political class.
“Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good” (Ezekiel 16:49-50). This was the sequence that destroyed Sodom, then ancient Israel, and now America. Pride leads to abomination, specifically the sexual perversion of male homosexuality which defined Sodom and which justified God’s genocide of the Canaanites – in His own words (Leviticus 18:22-30).
But Pride in the sense of spiritual impertinence toward God is the yuugest of problems as King Nebuchadnezzar learned, when he declared “ ‘Is this not Babylon the Great, which I myself have built by the might of my power as a royal residence and for the glory of my majesty?’ While the words were still in the king’s mouth, a voice came from heaven: ‘It is decreed to you, King Nebuchadnezzar, that the kingdom has departed from you’ ” (Daniel 4:30-31). Is an attitude much like this the reason why God allowed Trump to be de-throned in 2020?
More likely, it was Trump’s embrace of the LGBT agenda and the dangerous empowerment of open homosexual activists like Ric Grennell. Consider carefully the New Testament’s doctrinal counterpart to Leviticus 18 in Romans 1:26-32 “For this reason God gave them over to dishonorable passions. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. Likewise, the men abandoned natural relations with women and burned with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. Furthermore, since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, He gave them up to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. [And]…Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things are worthy of death, they not only continue to do these things, but also approve of those who practice them.”
God drew a hard red line in Scripture linking Leviticus 19 and Romans 1 as the two witnesses (Jewish and Christian) against Sodom. Those who cross that line have failed His test of discernment about the things of this world and invite serious moral confusion into their lives.
There aren’t many Christian leaders left in America these days who actually adhere to the Bible on this most fundamental of truths relative to human civilization. They’ve been bought off by Soros, or intimidated into compromise by fear of LGBT wrath (which is, as I know first-hand, very fierce), or shamed into silence by their own sexual self-indulgences. But as God has promised, there always remains a remnant to be a witness to the truths the world does not want to hear.
Today, I call for that remnant to rise up across this land and challenge Donald Trump to repent of his embrace of what he calls “gay rights” but what we know is the spiritually and socially deadly act of approval of sodomy, which is literally the harbinger of God’s wrath from Genesis to Revelation. And while we are at it, let us issue that same challenge to Tulsi Gabbard, Kari Lake and every other MAGA-aligned leader who has sold out God to curry favor with the world.
Make no mistake, my purpose here is to help President Trump, not to hurt him. In my view as a stanchly Bible-grounded pastor and 30-year missionary to the global pro-family movement, Trump cannot win God’s favor in his pursuit of the White House in 2024 if he does not repent of his approval of what God had declared not just a sin but an ABOMINATION. This is AMERICA! – the nation founded upon the Bible in the model of the Israelite Republic, and it cannot be made great again by defying the God of the Bible and dishonoring the sacrifice of the Founders who bequeathed this land to us by trampling their moral code into the mud!
But what could happen is that, like King Saul who started right but turned evil, Trump could end up being like one of the very tyrants we raised him up to overthrow.
No one who intentionally suppresses the truth of God on one issue stops with one. Sin is progressive, it spreads like a cancer in your heart and mind. That’s the main lesson of Romans 1! Only repentance puts that cancer into remission and stops your slide toward the “reprobate mind.” Trump went from an initial tepid acceptance of open homosexuals in his support base in 2016 to a full throated advocacy of “gay rights” on the very day the “Defilement of Marriage Act” became law. Next he’ll endorse parts and then all of the transsexual agenda, then transhumanism, like he caved on the fake vax. It’s an inevitable slippery slope of the mind for a politician (which, unfortunately, he seems to have become). UNLESS he repents, if he is capable of it — As Old Nebs did and was restored to power! (Daniel 4:31-37).

I have been one of Donald Trump’s strongest defenders. I ran for governor of Massachusetts in 2018 on the motto “Pro-Life, Pro-Gun, Pro-Trump.” But for real Christians, when it comes to choosing Trump or the Bible, there is no contest: Trump must lose as a matter of preserving our spiritual integrity. If 2024 comes down to just another choice of the lesser of two evils – both allied with the King of Sodom — I may not even vote. But while there is still a chance in these early days of the election cycle to win Trump back from the clutches of the Rainbow Reprobates, his Christian base should go all out to do so, and only then fully back him.
Part Two: A Worst Case Trump Scenario
The standard prophecy timeline for the Antichrist kingdom begins with a false messiah (the “Antichrist” White Horse of Revelation 6) who arises in a time of great crisis to save the day and put all things in good order. He rules the world for 3 ½ years like an angel of light – beguiling the world with such devious deception and magic tricks that if it were possible even the elect would be deceived, until he is finally fully exposed as the Antichrist. Then, all hell breaks loose (literally) in the 3 ½ year “great tribulation” as described in 1 Thessalonians 5:2-3: “the Day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, ‘Peace and security,’ destruction will come upon them suddenly, like labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.”
The “Day of the Lord” is not a 24-hour day but the thousand-year Sabbath “Day” of the Millennial Kingdom, the seventh of seven, modeled on the actual 24-hour days of creation. The Day of the Lord is initiated by the “beginning of sorrows” of Matthew 24 – the labor process leading to the return of the King of Kings in Glory to crush His enemies, take possession of and regenerate the earth, and then reign from Jerusalem on the Throne of David for a thousand years. All the big stuff we’re waiting for is front-loaded on that “day” but actually takes place over the course of seven human years.
However, there MUST be, per Scripture, a time of “peace and safety” in which the counterfeit messiah basks in the adulation of the world – most particularly in the perspective of the Israeli Jews whose city Jerusalem is his capitol (because nearly all prophecy should be viewed from a Holy Land vantage point).
Supposedly there is a 7-year peace treaty that is central to the process, according to a widely embraced but speculative reading of a single ambiguous phrase in Daniel 9:27. That’s plausible, but it is more likely that a peace treaty (if there is one) will be reached sometime during the seven years and not lead them off, given that the “beginning of sorrows” Jesus told us to watch for in Matthew 24 includes “wars and rumors of wars” so it seems more probable that the false messiah arises while his three companion horsemen are trampling the earth to ruin, and he (like an arsonist fireman) simply steps in at the crescendo of chaos to end it all and be perceived as the “hero” who saves the world.
In the context of current world events from a worldly perspective, that would seem to describe the (now unfolding) Great Collapse, setting up the Great Reset.
We don’t really know how long the Great Collapse will take, but it’s start seems to be somewhere before the launch of the Covid Plandemic in late 2019. I’m guessing it’s actual beginning was the point (in 2018 or 19?) when the globalists realized they couldn’t destroy Trump with the weapons then at their disposal – maybe as early as the failure of the Russian Collusion Hoax. I think the plan for a Great Collapse/Reset had been in the works much longer than that and would have continued to roll out smoothly if only Hillary had been elected as intended.
But Trump’s surprise 2016 victory forced them to move up their timeline and improvise on the fly. That’s why, as an intelligence/military operation, the plandemic/lockdown/election coup rollout was so sloppy and uncertain that it forced nearly all the players out of the shadows and into full view of the public – WE SAW THEM CHEAT WITH OUR OWN EYES – requiring the game-masters to undertake the largest (and still ongoing) gaslighting and cover-up campaign in world history to re-write the history of 2020/21 in real time while huge numbers of people are still watching and complaining (mostly impotently).
Now needing a world-class distraction from the failure of the whitewash operation, the elites chose to finally launch (on a non-optimal schedule) their long-planned Ukraine proxy war against Russia https://newspunch.com/mccain-graham-ukraine-russia/ which Putin further complicated by invading first, before the huge US-sponsored force gathering on the eastern front since late 2021 to crush the Donbass separatists could reach critical mass. And because that preemptive strike allowed Russia to survive the planned regime change (so far) and to expose the NATO military as much weaker than the non-NATO world believed, the only path to US victory now is dramatic hands-on escalation – WWIII – which reached a critical milestone in Mitch McConnells recent declaration prioritizing the defeat of Russia over all other US interests.
Make no mistake, however, in thinking that the elites have failed in their larger objective. They haven’t. The improvised collapse is reaching the same general result as the orderly collapse would have done: wars, famine, pestilence and a mass-culling of humanity.
This brings us to Trump – the world’s great hero of conservative and Christian populism who rode the wave of resistance that started with the Tea Party and in 2015/16 morphed into the mighty MAGA movement. The elites hated him fervently, but nevertheless they used him the best they could, forcing him to submit to the most critical elements of their agenda. His first obvious capitulation was in Syria in early 2017 where he authorized an illegal military strike on the transparent pretext of “chemical weapons” – which I believe was McConnell’s price for un-blocking the Gorsuch confirmation to the Supreme Court. Other capitulations followed, the most consequential being Operation Warp Speed.
Even then, Trump believed he could beat the elites, but after they “counted coup” on him in 2020 AND 2022 (McConnell being the lead tomahawk-man again), Donald Trump finally (apparently) bent the knee, just Reagan did after the landmark Battle of Robert Bork, forcing him to put Anthony Kennedy on SCOTUS as his punishment. Suddenly, Trump has changed in a deeply significant way – specifically turning against America’s biblical remnant: first by offering full throated fealty to the King of Sodom at Mar a Lago on the day the Defilement of Marriage Act became law, then by blaming “no-exception” pro-lifers for GOP losses in the mid-terms.
Trump is now acting the politician and not the patriot. There is fairly obvious calculation here to replace the Bible-believing Christians in his base with pro-LGBT, pro-abortion secularists and nominal/pseudo-Christians. By doing this, he shows he doesn’t really “get” what America was founded to be, and actually was for many generations. He is now, literally, pandering to the “woker” side of the MAGA base and throwing the Bible-believing Christians under the bus. Perhaps he is just taking wormtongue counsel from Old Mitch on how to finesse the Christian vote by giving us scraps – and we could force him back to first principles with a pressure campaign from the grassroots. Or maybe he is showing he never really was pro-life and pro-family at all – it was all just an act. But if he’s doing this now in the lead-up to the 2024 primary, how much further will he “swing to the middle” in the general?
But the worst case scenario of all is if Donald Trump emerges in the midst of the Great Collapse as the deliverer who ushers in the new world order, having been carried over the 2024 finish line by homosexuals, pro-aborts and other true-Christian bashers to the acclaim of a world that now loves him instead of hates him because he “woke up” and turned against the “hard right.” You can do your own math on what that would mean prophetically.
