I had already filmed my commentary on this theme before I went online to look up the story about the young man driven to suicide a few days ago by a massive campaign of ridicule by the Marxists. When I made the video I did not know that Wilson Gavin himself struggled with same-sex attraction disorder, which to my mind compounds the tragedy.
How extraordinarily courageous for someone who self-identified as “gay” to publicly rise to the defense of innocent children being groomed to embrace transgenderism as a social norm!
I only cited his case to illustrate the extreme cruelty and inhumanity of the of the Marxists toward anyone who opposes their political and cultural agenda – something I know intimately by personal experience.
But I now wish I could have known this young man while he was alive, to help him recognize the common false root of “sexual orientation theory” that produced both the “born that way” lie about homosexuality (which he apparently fell for), and the “right to indoctrinate children” lie undergirding the “Drag Queen Story Hour” campaign. I believe Gavin may have grasped enough of God’s truth to have been willing to believe and receive the deliverance promised in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, the “ex-gay” passage.
In his 1971 book, Rules for Radicals (for conducting Marxist warfare against Judeo-Christian civilization), Saul Alinsky wrote that “in war the end justifies almost any means” (p.44) and in his section on tactics taught that “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counterattack” (p. 132).
Everyone from our Commander in Chief President Trump down to our lowliest foot-soldiers (hiding behind an avatar to fight leftist trolls online) has faced the consequence of Alinsky’s evil advice and perhaps in self-defense even adopted a conservative version of that mindset for themselves. But Wilson Gavin rushed far out onto the battlefield unprepared and learned Alinsky’s lesson in the hardest possible way. Gavin’s blood is on his hands, and on those of every bully that joined the public stoning of this brave youth.
What I have learned in my thirty years of speaking hard truth in the face of vicious opposition is that one cannot fight even the lesser demons in one’s own strength. Only in the power of God is it possible to stand fast against whatever the adversary throws at you.
Today I firmly claim the promise – and testify of its truthfulness – that “ ‘No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the LORD’s servants, and their vindication is from Me,’ declares the LORD” (Isaiah 54:17).
Would that every self-confessed Christian lived this truth by example – instead of falling back in an emasculating scramble for self-preservation when attacked. Because I also know from decades of sad observation, that most do not stand fast, but allow the adversary to stampede them – giving up the ground which God had given them to hold – ground that represents the sweetest of the enemy’s victories, on which his flags of conquest then fly triumphantly.
Rise up, oh Men of God! Take back this land!!
